Tall Falls

"Tall Falls" is an 11"x14" original acrylic landscape on canvas panel, built around the drama of a narrow waterfall tumbling down a rocky cliff into a quiet pool below. I wanted this painting to capture that mix of power and stillness you feel when you stand near falling water in the woods.

Cool blues and deep greens carve a path for your eye from the top of the falls to the mist at the base, with textured brushwork suggesting wet stone and moss along the way. Softer tones in the background trees keep the focus on the vertical rush of water, giving the piece a strong sense of depth despite its intimate size.

The 11"x14" format makes it a natural choice for living rooms, offices, or entryways where you'd like nature to greet you as you walk by. Because it's painted on a canvas panel, it can slip easily into a standard frame and blend into your existing décor, or stand alone as a single bold statement.

If you enjoy waterfall scenes and riverscape paintings that feel like snapshots from a hike, "Tall Falls" offers that same refreshing energy on your wall-a small, steady reminder of wild places and rushing water.
