Candy Clouds
$90.00
"Candy Clouds" is an 11"x14" original acrylic painting on canvas panel, inspired by those evenings when the sky seems sweeter than anything in the kitchen. I painted this piece to celebrate the soft, dreamlike light that hangs over open land just before sunset.
Layers of pastel pinks, violets, and warm golds drift across the sky, contrasted with a quiet landscape below. The ground is intentionally simple and understated so the clouds can take center stage, creating a sense of openness and calm that feels a bit like standing in a wide field, looking up with nowhere else to be.
The brushwork in the sky is loose and expressive, giving each cloud a sense of motion, as if the color is slowly shifting while you watch. On a wall, this painting brings a gentle glow to the room-perfect for a bedroom, nursery, or any space where you want the atmosphere to feel soft and welcoming.
Because it's on an 11"x14" canvas panel, "Candy Clouds" frames easily and pairs beautifully with other small landscapes if you'd like to build a story across your wall. For anyone who loves cloud-watching or serene landscape art, this piece offers a little window of sky you can return to whenever you need a quiet moment.
